Polytron MTC Engine Treatment Application Guidelines:

By following these steps and monitoring the used oil analysis results, you can optimize the performance and longevity of your engine with Polytron MTC.

For gasoline or diesel engines, add one 16oz bottle to a 4-5 qt crankcase, or approximately 10% by volume to larger crankcases during an oil change.

First Application:

First-Time Use: Apply at least 500 to 700 miles before your next oil change.

Second Application:

Regular Use: After the initial application, continue to change your oil at your regular interval. For example, if you typically change your oil every 5000 miles, continue with that schedule.

Third and following Applications:

Long-Term Use: Apply Polytron MTC every fourth oil change interval. For instance, if your oil change interval is 5000 miles, use Polytron MTC every 20000 miles. If it’s 10000 miles, apply Polytron MTC every 40000 miles.

Open Gear Oils: (10% added to gear oil) Wire ropes and cables All the grades that provide lubrication for mining equipment including: – girth and pinion gears on rod and ball mills – rack and pinion gears on shovel dipsticks – swing and pinion gears on top of the lower frame of shovels and draglines which are sometimes served with an automatic lubrication system.
